Marsho Radio interviewed few people in Chechnya on the situation in the country.

Molvdi (city of Shali): Maskhadov, Dudaev, all of them killed. Even Basaev is killed. But the war still continues! There are still people that are being tortured everyday. I think that Dokku Umarov has to stop his ideology. Because then it all will be clear. And then Russians would have nothing to say any destabilization in Chechnya and people will be able to understand where is truth. I really believe if we will stop fighting, everything will be clear. All sides will not be able to hide anymore.

Hava (village of Noja-Yurt): We cannot express our feelings and we can't live free. I think it is all because of the leader in Chechnya. I think that we don't have a leader in Chechnya who can take care of his nation. I think it's all about leadership today.

Zavdi: War in Chechnya isn't over. Especially war on papers. Now it is even horrible. Because now the government does whatever it wants and nobody is able to speak out. Everyone scares to express his opinion. When people say that the war is over, there should be some positive changes. But I don't see them and therefore, I say that the war isn't over! Even in some places where war doesn't exist, government controls everyone so that the people can't even live. This topic is the topic where people always cry. Chechnya is full of corruption now. Isn't it better to fight or to have war rather than dying of such situation?! What is going now in Chechnya, is the moment where you say nothing but you get killed or lost. The government is pushing especially on poor people. I see this as the process of destruction of my nation.

Minkail (Turkey): It's not about leadership at all! As far as there is no justice and Moscow will not killing people, resistance in Chechnya will never calm down.

Aslambek (Norway): They are arguing Justice not the religion!
