Chechnya has been facing 10th anniversary of genocide in the village of Aldy. Few conferences have been held and over thousand of people came out to remember all relatives they have lost 10 years ago.

In the beginning of the February in 2000, Russian army occupied the village of Aldy. They "were supposed" to find Chechen rebels. When they found none of the armed people in the village, they begun to shot everyone they have got on their way.

If anyone would want to know about all that happened in Aldy, we have a full document posted on website in regards to genocide in Aldy.

But shortly, it was a unexpected day for anyone who can ever imagine. Russian soldiers that came to visit villagers weren't so welcome as it supposed to. Russian soldiers were aggressive and full of inhumanity.

The first people they saw were shot for no reason. As one of the villager who is 63 now, says: I remember how they came to my house and hit me so I can be paralyzed for sometime. My husband... (she continues crying) They just shot him and I remember how he fell on the floor. But I knew that he was killed when his blood touched my legs while I was paralyzed and couldn't move.

Another villager, a woman of 45 says: Russians, when they enter my and my husband's home, begin to hit him with their weapons. I was crying and I screamed "Don't you have a bit of heart?! How can you?! Please! Stop hitting him!" But they continued. When my husband fell down and wasn't able to move, I hardly, from my crying situation, asked them to stop again. I said "he is dead now! that's it! leave him! please!" But none of them listened to me. They knew that my husband was still breathing. Then one of them took a gun and shot my husband right at front of me.

On of the men that survived that explained the happening like that: It was terrible day. Even though it was a daytime, I felt like it was so dark outside. Maybe it's because of my feelings and tears that I had. But if you want to know what I remember, I can tell you hundred percent that I remember every second of that day. It isn't forgettable! They, the Russian dogs, came to my family place and began to hit all of us. We couldn't say a thing. They took my brother to the other room and shot him down. Then they took my wife and knifed her right in her heart. Then they took me and shot me to the chest where I fell down but survived later. While I was shot down, I could still hear the voice of my son and daughter who were shot after. Please, I can't speak more. I'm sorry. I just can't....

According to Russian sources, only 40 people were killed on that day. But according to the Chechens who have lost their relatives on that day, Russian dogs killed more than two hundred of innocent Chechens or simply villagers.

The interesting fact in this story is that none of the Russian soldier who participated in such genocide is in prison or at least been charged for what he has done to innocent people.

The time will come, when justice will appear. I'm not so religious, but I respect all religions and religious people. And in this case, I come to God and always ask Him to make justice. Therefore, Insha Allah, the day will come.
