Shatoy and Urus-Martan districts are under Russian attacks. Jets are bombing the forest for about two weeks now. Chechen citizens complain that their children can't sleep due to heavy explosions in the mountains nearby. One of the citizens, whose name we won't mention, said - "Since the Russians declared of the End of Counter-Terrorist operations in Chechnya the bombings have only increased and so the number of insurgents. If the Russians want to fight, please, why don't they go into forest by themselves instead to bombing all nature that we have? They will never go in there because insurgents are strong and well-experienced. I'm sure the insurgents even know where to hide from bombings so Russian jets do not cause any troubles at all." The citizen's neighbor also added - "The Russian declared to end Counter-Terrorist operations thinking this would decrease the number of rebels. But this didn't happen and I don't think it will even happen until Chechen rebels reach their point." He also corrected the first one - "You know what? They call themselves Mujahedeen. This means they are fighting for justice. And the World calls them Freedom Fighters. So they are not any insurgents. They are the youngsters who believe in finding Free Chechnya only through resistance against the Russians."

Chechen citizens also mentioned of heavy battles in the most of districts and say the majority of victories after every battle are taken by the rebels.

The Russian Media hasn't informed of the bombings that are still going on in the Chechen forest. No other information regarding loses from both sides is available.
